This figure includes land use fees, land rental, surface water lease fees, and revenue from real estate transfers.
In just the first half of 2025, Ho Chi Minh City recorded VND 12,720 billion in revenue from land. Two projects were the major driving forces:
- Lotte Eco Smart City with VND 16,190 billion
- Can Gio Reclamation Urban Area – Vinhomes Green Paradise with over VND 43,500 billion
The 2025 target for land-related revenue has reached 90.72% of the assigned VND 72,000 billion.
Impressive disbursement & land title issuance progress
As of the end of June 2025:
- Public investment disbursement reached 81.52%, equivalent to VND 19,439 billion out of VND 23,846 billion
- 214 new land use right certificates were issued, bringing the total number for individuals to 1,586,927 certificates – a rate of 99.68%, and for organizations to 1,516,646 certificates – a rate of 92.53%
Notably, Task Force 5013 successfully resolved legal obstacles for 97 out of 142 problematic projects, demonstrating a strong commitment to legal reform and expedited disbursement for major developments.
